Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 October 2026
These terms apply when you use ClinioSync: our website (https://cliniosync.com), the clinic app (https://app.cliniosync.com) and the patient pages that clinics share with their patients. “We” and “us” mean the team that builds and runs ClinioSync. “Clinic” means the doctor, clinic or hospital that holds a ClinioSync account, and “you” means the clinic and the people using the service.
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
ClinioSync is software for running a clinic: patient records, appointments, queues, prescriptions, billing, pharmacy and WhatsApp messages to patients.
ClinioSync does not give medical advice. Doctors remain fully responsible for every clinical decision, diagnosis and prescription. Drug names, compositions, templates and suggestions in the app are for convenience only and must be checked by a qualified professional.
2. Accounts
- The clinic is responsible for who it adds as staff and what roles they are given.
- Keep sign-in details private. Each person should use their own account.
- Tell us at [email protected] straight away if you suspect someone has used an account without permission.
- Information you give us when signing up must be accurate.
3. The clinic's responsibilities for patient data
The clinic decides what patient information to record and is responsible for:
- having a lawful basis, including patient consent where needed, to record and use that information;
- following the laws and professional rules that apply to it, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules on medical records and telemedicine;
- messaging patients only where it is allowed to, and following WhatsApp's Business and Commerce policies;
- keeping the information it enters accurate.
We handle patient data on the clinic's behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or to send spam or unwanted messages;
- try to access another clinic's data or any part of the service you are not authorised to use;
- probe, disrupt or overload the service, or upload malicious code;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it;
- enter real patient information in the public demo clinics, which anyone can open.
5. Plans and fees
- Fees are those of the plan the clinic chooses, as shown on our pricing page or agreed with us in writing. GST and other taxes are extra.
- WhatsApp message usage beyond what a plan includes may be charged as set out in that plan.
- If fees are unpaid, we may suspend the account after giving notice.
6. Your data
The clinic owns the data it puts into ClinioSync. It gives us permission to store and process that data only to provide the service. A clinic can ask us for an export of its data at any time.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service reliable and take daily backups, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may carry out maintenance, and we may improve or change features over time. We will give notice before removing a feature that clinics rely on.
8. Ending the service
- A clinic may stop using ClinioSync at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we will warn the clinic first and give it a chance to fix the problem.
- After an account closes, the clinic can ask for an export, and we return or delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Our software
ClinioSync, including its software, design and content (other than your data), belongs to us. These terms give you the right to use it while your account is active; they do not transfer ownership.
10. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the clinic paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
11. Indemnity
The clinic will cover our reasonable losses arising from claims caused by its breach of these terms or of its legal duties towards its patients.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell clinics about important changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
